Come for the airboat ride, stay for the gator bites and bar. This place is a gem! The airboat ride was amazing, and the captain made it so much fun! The gator bites are delicious as well (bonus points for seeing gators in the distance while eating)! The atmosphere of the location is perfect.

This is always a fave stop for us. We go every year. Sundays are amazing. Lots of bikers and a great crowd. We bring the kids. And dance to live music. And go on the airboat tours. Our kids look forward to eating gator bites every visit!

Whether you’re there for the food, the views, or the adventure, this place delivers on all fronts. The gator tail here is hands-down the best around—crispy on the outside, tender and flavorful on the inside. It’s a must-try dish, even if you’ve never had gator before. I’ve been coming to Lone Star Cabbage Ranch for over 30 years and it never disappoints. The airboat rides and the food are the main attractions. Today catfish, gator, frog legs and shrimp were served up in a light, crunchy batter. The hush puppies are the best I’ve ever had. Sundays they have a live band and a cat fish fry for 11.99. You can’t beat this deal. The airboat ride was full of gators, cows, egrets, herons, and some other pink birds. I happily and highly recommend Lone Star for an authentic Florida nature experience.

We love it here. The airboat are amazing, fun, and educational (we were short of time, so we. did not go on one today, but have in the past, next time) Food: hubby had frog legs and gator bites, HUBBY said YUM. I had spicy boneless chicken wings with fries also YUM. We will return, if you haven't been here, come on down and Enjoy.
